Weekend Tournaments. December 11th, 2010. 12/12/2010
Congratulations to ALL of the Vacanti Jiu Jitsu students who competed at Master John Hassett's Tournament as well as the MACP tournament at Fort Dix. Everyone fought tough, used great Jiu Jitsu and both won and lost with dignity. Thanks for representing our school, Team Balance and Gracie Jiu Jitsu with honor and pride. And, thank you to Hasstt's Jiu Jitsu as well as the U.S. Army MACP personnel for running great events! CommentsI have never "BLOGGED" before either, so I hope I do this right. Congrats to all of you as well, I was on Mr Mom duty with our new borns and was unable to come out and support all of you. I would like to go on record though for pre-ordering shirts! I will see you all in the gym, if not, Happy Holiday's.

I was at Hassett's on Saturday and I can say first hand that everyone wrestled tough. I also want to give alot of credit to Tim, Tyler, and Brad; Tyler has been around on and off for a while but the other two are fairly new to jiu jitsu and all showed alot of guts. I don't think anyone lost on submission and we had a bunch submission wins. No first place finishes but I think we all learned alot and found spots we need to work on so next time we have some golds.

The Combatives tourney was a great experinace. I know that we all learned alot. It gave me more motivation to train harder and more often. Good job to all of the guys that went out on Saturday and did thier thing.
